Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Crispy Chicken Tenders
Chicken tenders are one of the favorite foods for children and even many adults. These chicken tenders are super crunchy and without the excess oil from frying.
You Will Need:
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil cooking spray
Directions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Sprinkle the pepper and one teaspoon salt on the chicken tenders (the other ¼ is for the bread crumbs).
- You will need three shallow bowls. In the first one, place the flour.
- In the second bowl, whisk the eggs well to combine.
- In the third bowl, place the breadcrumbs, the ¼ teaspoon salt, and the garlic powder.
- Working in batches, dredge the chicken tenders in the flour; then, dip them in the eggs; lastly, into the breadcrumbs mixture.
- Transfer the tenders to the air fryer’s basket, and spray them lightly with the oil cooking spray.
- Fry the chicken tenders for 25-30 minutes. Flip them halfway through.
- Add more cooking time, if needed.
- Transfer the chicken tenders to a serving plate.
BBQ Chicken Tenders

Your chicken tenders will be incredibly flavorful if you coat them with the sauce before air frying them, or you can also make the crispy chicken tenders recipe we explained before and use the sauce to dip them.
You Will Need:
- 1 pound chicken tenderloins
- 1 ½ cups ketchup
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (soy sauce also works).
- Canola oil cooking spray
Directions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, stir the ketchup, brown sugar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. When the ingredients combine, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Transfer to a shallow bowl.
- Dredge the chicken tenderloins into the sauce until coating them entirely.
- Transfer the tenderloins to the air fryer basket and spray them lightly with the canola oil cooking spray.
- Cook for 15 minutes. Flip them halfway through.
- Allow the chicken tenders to cool slightly. Transfer them to a serving plate and enjoy!
Parmesan Chicken Tenders With Marinara Sauce
These cheesy chicken tenders are perfect to dip into marinara sauce, or you can eat them on their own, since they already are crispy and delicious. Have them as a snack, appetizer, or even as a main dish with something else on the side.
You Will Need:
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Cooking spray
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 3 ½ cups can crushed tomatoes from your favorite brand
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- Salt and black pepper to taste (for the marinara sauce)

- Preheat the oven to 375°F.

- Remove from heat and add the fresh basil.
